Vintage Adirondack Style Fire Tools With Bronze Elk or Stag Heads – 5 Pieces

A stunning 1940’s Adirondack style fire tools set. This 5-piece set includes a stand, a 2-prong log lifter/poker, shovel, single prong poker with shark fin hook, and a natural fiber broom. Long solid wood handles are stained to resemble exotic wood such as macassar ebony or rosewood. Each tool is capped with the true centerpiece of this set, a finely casted polished bronze elk or stag head with 12-point antlers. Also of note are the 2 accent polished brass bandings – one at the collar of the bronze heads, and one where wood handles meet iron rods.

This set has recently been polished and cleaned. There is some minor tarnish and minimal rust spots on iron rods. Judging by condition, this set was used as a decorative item and rarely used in a fireplace.
