Vintage Design
Pyramid chair designed by Wim Rietveld in 1960 for Ahrend de Cirkel.
This beautiful chair is an early edition and it comes from our private collection.
These chairs are not offered a lot, they are much rarer than the well-known Revolt and Result chairs by Friso Kramer.
The lines of this chair are even more reduced than those of the Result, in which Wim Rietveld also had his share. Very clean modernist design.
It has a grey metal frame and a teak plywood seat and backrest.
The chair is in very good original condition. The seat and backrest are excellent. The metal frame, especially the armrests, has a lovely patina.
