Vintage Lowboy Chest
Nice vintage lowboy chest in solid cherry wood. This pretty lowboy chest by Pennsylvania House Furniture has a great look and shows good quality!

Of course, the lowboy features two nicely proportioned drawers. These drawers, as well as the chest, follow the famous blockfront, Goddard style, after Samuel Goddard. Additionally, the lowboy chest has nice tall Queen Anne style legs. Finally, it has pretty Chippendale style brass hardware.

We lightly refinished this lowboy chest by Pennsylvania House Furniture. We tried to keep much of the original color and stain intact in doing so. It may have minor imperfections or signs of age

English Regency mahogany bow front chest of drawers, circa 1810. With a single board top,
3 flame mahogany drawers with brass hardware, resting on serpentine shape feet. Hand dove tailed drawer construction.

Five Drawer Dresser With Unique “ X “ Wood Grain Design in the Front. Orange Colored Accent on the Handles and the intricate Foot Detailing make this Piece Remarkable.

This is a very nice original vintage wood double dresser chest of drawers designed for Johnson Furniture Company (Grand Rapids, MI) by Paul T. Frankl (1886-1958). Produced for the Emissary line, with refined Mid Century Modern biomorphic design in solid walnut. Original geometric brass drawer pulls. Signed to inside upper drawer.
All drawers run smooth.

I spent many wonderful years in Japan and have loved this set of late Edo/early Meiji period Kyoto tansu clothing chests. They’re great for storing whatever you wish – linens, blankets, even cherished letters! They are constructed with wooden nails, cryptomeria wood with unusual fan shaped iron lock plates and scalloped “mokko” style iron drawer pulls. Stack them or place side by side. Or raise them using a newly constructed metal base.

Handsome 19th century campaign chest secretary handcrafted in mahogany in a two-piece construction featuring a pull-out leather top secretary desk with nooks and drawers, three storage drawers below, brass hardware and turned feet.

Fine quality and very elegant 19th century chest of drawers, having figured mahogany top above two short and three long cockbeaded drawers, all fitted with original turned handles and standing on turned feet. This antique chest is in home ready condition. c1830
