Dramatically hand painted floor lamp with solid brass base and lamp fittings. All new wiring and new shade. Brass fittings have been newly polished and lacquered. The lamp measures 12′ X 12′ at the base and is 62.25″ tall as shown with extensions to raise shade. The shade measures 19.75″ X 11″. Very fine condition.

Vintage Swedish Lighting Floor Lamp in Glass and Brass from Falkenbergs Belysning, 1960s

This elegant floor lamp was produced by Falkenbergs Belysning in Sweden in the 1960s. The lamp is marked with the manufacturer’s sticker on the inside of the lamp fitting. The design is composed of a slightly raised, circular foot in textured glass. The central tubular stem is made of polished brass. The renewed empire lamp shade is in a pewter / silver-gray color and is made of Dupion silk. Dupion has a beautiful lustre and texture, this gives the lamp a very pleasant light distribution once switched on. The lamp is in very good original condition. Currently wired with a 220V European plug. This piece has an attribution mark,
