Rare and important 1950s lounge chair in lacquered beech and paper cord by Danish designer Illum Wikkelsø. This stunning chair was manufactured at the cabinetmaker N. Eilersen in the early 1950s for a very short period of time. Brilliant design and skilled craftsmanship on this masterpiece of Danish modern furniture design. Beautifully restored by Danish cabinetmaker.
