An astonishingly beautiful pair of Swedish-Italian hand-carved brown alabaster knight horse head table lamps, Nordiska Kompaniet, made in the 1970s. The knight, an essential piece in the game of chess, is symbolized by a horse’s head and neck, renowned for its distinctive movement pattern on the board. Crafted from beautiful brown alabaster with natural light brown inlays, these table lamps feature exquisite detailing, with the horse’s head atop ball and square blocks of the same alabaster. Each lamp is labeled with a sticker “Genuine Alabaster Hand Carved Made in Italy”. Most likely these lamps were designed by NK designers and produced by skilled artisans in Italy.
