These are an excellent set of Antique 19th Century handmade snuff boxes! They are made with paper mache and then lacquered black. In the pictures you can see varying degrees of wear in the lacquer of the three boxes which have developed a lovely patina from age and use.

They each measure 3 1/2″W by 2 1/4″H by 1 1/4 inches thick.
