Old extending table from the 1950s, furniture from France, in oak and oak veneer.
We love its constrained format (150cm) and its extension system allowing a very nice dimension once fully unfolded – either 195cm or 240 cm with the two extensions. The modernist look with its square base and the details of the volume strips on the headband are beautifully elegant and bring timeless character to this piece of furniture.
Very nice look with its details on the base bringing a very interesting design to the whole.
The color of the wood and the grain are very qualitative and unique.
Good general condition, some minor defects, inherent to its great age, small ghost marks on the tray, light scratches in places and small varnish breaks in the veneer in places, please refer to the many detailed photos.
The extensions slide elegantly under the top and are easily pulled out on their own.
